Ingredients
- 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 50ml (about 1.7 oz) of cachaça
- Crushed ice or ice cubes
- 1,5l consectetur
- 4 adipisicing
- elit and tempor
Preparation
For a smoother Caipirinha, adjust the amount of cachaça to your taste.
Try replacing lime with other fruits like strawberries or kiwi for delicious variations of the traditional recipe.
Step 1
Wash the lime and cut it into 8 wedges, removing the white center pith to avoid bitterness.
Step 2
Place the lime wedges directly into the glass. Add the 2 tablespoons of sugar over the limes. Gently muddle the lime with the sugar in the glass, just enough to extract the juice and mix it with the sugar, without completely breaking down the peel.
Step 3
Pour the 50ml of cachaça over the muddled lime and sugar.
Fill the glass with crushed ice or ice cubes, according to preference.
Stir the mixture well in the glass so that the flavors of lime, sugar, and cachaça are perfectly integrated.
